Founders

Mattia Biagi an esteemed Italian artist and designer, has made Los Angeles his home and creative hub. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Biagi has left an indelible mark on the global art scene. His awe-inspiring installations have graced prestigious galleries and museums worldwide, including esteemed institutions such as Palais de Tokyo and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Notably, his work has found a permanent place in renowned museums in the United States and Italy, such as Castello di Rivara in Italy and the Mint Museum in North Carolina.
Recognized for his immense talent and international acclaim, Biagi was entrusted by Johnnie Walker to design and represent their worldwide advertising campaign, resulting in the creation of a remarkable series of limited edition bottles. The campaign garnered accolades, including a coveted packaging award in the United Kingdom. Biagi has also collaborated with esteemed luxury brands, including Promemoria in Italy, where he designed a captivating limited edition bronze chair. His collaborations extend to Nava, where he crafted a series of sculptural helmets, Nike, with his artistic touch gracing limited edition sculptural shoes, and Linvisibile doors, where he created a sculptural door and door handles of exquisite beauty.
In recognition of his contributions to the field of design, Biagi was appointed as the Italian ambassador for Design in the USA, representing the West Coast in 2021. His passion for creativity and unwavering dedication to artistic excellence continue to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.


Cardenio Petrucci an accomplished Italian product designer and esteemed creative director, has earned acclaim and recognition for his outstanding contributions to the field. His exceptional art direction for DFM resulted in a remarkable achievement of winning three Interior Design Best of the Year awards consecutively from 2019 to 2021.
During his tenure at the renowned engineering firm Arup, Petrucci played a pivotal role in prestigious projects that left an indelible mark on the architectural landscape. His contributions encompassed iconic works such as the De Young Museum, masterfully designed by Herzog and De Meuron, as well as the California Academy of Sciences, envisioned by the acclaimed architect Renzo Piano.
In 2000, Petrucci founded the Petrucci Design Group, an interior design firm renowned for its exceptional projects throughout the United States. Recognizing the importance of importing furniture and fixtures for his designs, he established Dzine in 2004. This venture grew into one of the most successful design galleries in the country, captivating enthusiasts with its curated collection. In 2013, Petrucci further expanded his creative endeavors with the founding of Dsegnare, a dynamic business specializing in workplace design. His exceptional work has graced the spaces of notable clients such as Apple, YouTube, and Google.
An active member of the international design community, Petrucci collaborates with esteemed local institutions, museums, and prominent architecture and design firms. His passion for pushing the boundaries of design and his unwavering commitment to excellence continue to make a profound impact on the industry.
